Hey this is for those of us who dont mind giving out our numbers Might i recommend giving out a cell or lazor box though.
Mine is 573 529 9789 and my lazor box is 206 312 9210 so leave me a lazor message or call my cell. I dont mind txt messages either

Post 2 by the reconstructionist (lucifer doesn't exist. he is only the planet venus personified!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 15:43:25

Ok, here it goes. My phone number is 1386-405-0684, which is yy cell so call me peoples, if you aren't easily grossed out/offended lol.

Post 3 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 15:48:09

You people are nuts! I give my number only to people I have chatted online with for months and am sure I can trust. Giving it out to the world at large is crazy.

Post 4 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 15:51:16

These people are truly brave handing numbers out like this, oh yeah hey now Julio the Blind Man has a place to post his number if he wants. Someone direct him to this board next time he's around. LOL

Post 5 by Senior (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 15:58:07

Perhaps it's lonelyness. For if they had enough people calling them, and they were too busy socialising, they wouldn't want a lot of members of the Zone community ringing them at any given time.

Post 6 by lights_rage (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 15:58:13

just remember that the nutty people happen to be the coolest

Post 7 by the reconstructionist (lucifer doesn't exist. he is only the planet venus personified!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 16:02:38

Lol How true.

Post 8 by lights_rage (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 16:09:39

i turn my phone off when not available

Post 9 by Ukulele<3 (Try me... You know you want to.) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 16:12:23

Um. How about no! There are crazies on here I'd much rather not talk to or give my numbers to. But how about skype me sometime. Though you'll have to prove you're interesting before I'll give you that too. hehe

Post 10 by jmbauer (Technology's great until it stops working.) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 17:09:44

If you consider that the boards are searchable from google and can be viewed by people with no ties to zone activity whatsoever, I'd say this isn't such a good idea, to put it as nicely as possible. But, post away, if you live on the edge.

And, oh yeh, the number's 911. give me a call some time, ay? I respond best when told it's urgent, or you've burned your thanksgiving turkey.

Post 11 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 17:36:18

shouldn't this topic be better on the desperate and dateless board? How damn pathetic. Those I care about, or have got to know me well enough have my numbers, and the rest can go call someone who cares.

Post 12 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 18:46:09

never you mind

Post 13 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 19:28:54

this isn't bravery, in my opinion, it's pure insanity! I only give my number to people I know *really* well.

Post 14 by rdfreak (THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE-BLUE KANGA-KICKIN AUSIE) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 19:40:19

leave them alone, all please.
it definitely wouldn't be my thing, giving my number out on a public website, but if people want to do it, let them without ridicule. and if they've got to unfortunately learn the hard way, I'm sure they can do that without any extra help.

Post 15 by Godzilla-On-Toast (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 20:45:04

I agree with Rdfreak. I personally do not want assorted trolls prank-calling my cell or Laser box, so whatever.

Post 16 by the reconstructionist (lucifer doesn't exist. he is only the planet venus personified!) on Saturday, 28-Apr-2007 22:18:42

Well nothing bad has happened. Its not like you can get your credit card stolen that way. I mean seriously!!!! If someone predatoril calls you you can get there number blocked!!!!!!!! Dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!tttttttttttttttt God!!!

Post 19 by the reconstructionist (lucifer doesn't exist. he is only the planet venus personified!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 0:04:34

Well I did it mainly to create this controversy. Plus, my phone's off mostly so yeah. And no one unexpected has called in any case.

Post 20 by the reconstructionist (lucifer doesn't exist. he is only the planet venus personified!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 0:07:11

And to your comment retrieverdog, I've always been out of my mind. And no quams about it. I have nothing to hide.

Post 21 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 2:39:42

Post 25 by speedie (move over school!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 8:43:08

The girlfriend of a friend of mine handed her number to an ok person she'd known for years, who'd promised to help her.

Then your woman harrased her for weeks with non stop abuse, now the phone is out of commission said nutter is not happy.
And has taken to drink.

Post 26 by Empress Lana (Account disabled) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 9:38:06

Post 28 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 10:43:10

Yeah I decided that since so many people are handing out their numbers like brave ...(foolish)... attention seekers, I may as well do so myself alright everyone my number is 1-800-FUCK-OFF, now c'mon I bet I had you going there for a moment now didn't I? You actually thought getting my REAL number was that easy?

Post 29 by jmbauer (Technology's great until it stops working.) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 11:01:08

Post 31 by speedie (move over school!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 12:03:46

This is a reaction to my mate Alex complaing about eejits posting their phone numbers, there's toddlers behaved themselves better at Celtic park today. It's a knee jerk reaction from a sad feickin idiot who once said if you ever feel like that again call me and the said eejit left her number.

I've the number of the Rotterdam HELL'S ANGELS it doesnt mean I'll be calling them

I to, only give my number to people I know well.

Post 34 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Sunday, 29-Apr-2007 22:00:50

I have only two comments to make regarding this board.

One: Fucking pathetic.

Two: Just as the desperate people have the right to post their numbers for all the world to call, the not-so-desperate have the right to put their two cents in, whether helpfully advising or directly ridiculing. Such is the nature of public message boards.

Okay, so I can't count. Three: Jim, rofl.

Post 35 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 11:03:27

Nope! You won't even get our landline or my mobile numbers off me, though my idiot mother's posted us in the phone book which anyone can search for online. This I've done and I found our phone number and address straight away, Gur'r'r'r'r'r! That's just asking for these rubbish people and organisations to ring you selling windows, cars, conservatories, double glazing, holidays abroad, ensurance Etc. Don't know how many times I told her we should go ex-directory. I've also blocked all anonymous texts and ads on my phone so I can't receive any shite.

Jen.

Post 36 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 17:02:17

I'd have my number unlisted but I can't afford it. I don't like the fact people got my number in their damn phoneboos or even look it up on-line.

Post 37 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 17:10:37

My number in England is 999 and in Cyprus 199. lol.
Seriously i don't like giving my phone number out but i don't see what's bad about people giving it. There are other boards about people with msn and skype so why not this one?

Post 38 by lauralou (Account disabled) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 19:51:08

Post 39 by Chicken Scratch (Account disabled) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 20:29:58

...Wow. Lauralou, that is a whole lot of zeros. How does anyone ever memorize it? Does the phone book in a cell phone even take that many numbers? I don't think mine does, at least! LOL.

Post 40 by retrieverdog (when I'm in seventh hour, my work does show.) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 21:35:12

Mine is 1-411, which is information here in the states.

Seriously, good luck Jenny. Personally, I think it's a bad idea, but it's a free world and you can post it if you wish. So, as I said, good luck and let us know how it works out for you.

Oh, btw, sorry I misspelled your name Jenni. Just carelessness on my part.

Post 43 by fuzzy101 (The master of fuzz!!) on Tuesday, 01-May-2007 15:32:16

Well I'll say this much.
For me the difference between giving out a phone number verses skype or msn is that on those programs it's a lot harder to be anonimous.
But it really depends on what you feel comfortable with.
So if people want to give out there phone number and deal with whatever may come then let them.
Personally I think it's more stupid and childish to say your phone number is 911 or some oof the other stuff butr that's just me.
That being said, I think I'll be somewhat of a hypocrit and give a phone number you could all ways give to someone if you wanted them not to call you.
Give them the rejection line number at 212-479-7990.
there's other ones too and you can look at rejectionline.com but that one at least used to be the best.

Post 44 by rdfreak (THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE-BLUE KANGA-KICKIN AUSIE) on Tuesday, 01-May-2007 21:51:18

Lol I just went to that web site and called the number. that's classic! I'll have to remember that one, though we'll have to see if there's numbers in Australia to make it more realistic! :)

Post 45 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 01-May-2007 22:03:37

I gave a guy the rejection hotline number once, a couple years ago, when he wouldn't stop asking all my friends for my number. He then told everyone he didn't really want to talk to me, he just wanted to get some. Rofl! Rejection.
Sorry, off topic, but that post brought back amusing memories.

I agree with lonestar's last post. I wouldn't give my number out to anyone that I don't kno, not even if you payd me! to many weirdos here, for one. I'd have to like you a lot! or you'd have to be a reeeeeally close friend for me to even think about it. so, I will not give my number out! not even my skype one.

Post 55 by retrieverdog (when I'm in seventh hour, my work does show.) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 11:47:24

yes, pointless. hardly anyone has actually givin out there phone numbers.
oh yeah. BTW, not sure if all you who are giving your phone numbers out know or not, there's a website where someone can pay $15, put in your phone number and get every drop of your personal information. so think about that when you give out your phone number.

Post 56 by The Giggling Cowboy (Veteran Zoner) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 15:17:56

I have to agree...putting your number out on this board is asking for trouble of some kind, at some time, probably when you least expect it. So, y'all can call me at 1-888 zpty-2da! LOL!

come on gang: ever heard of "respect for each other?" I thought not.
that is all.

Post 61 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 19:24:53

some of us have more respect for our lives, our family's, and our privacy to post our private! numbers on a public board like this. If you don't have any respect for yourself, then think about your friends and family, who, if something happens to you, will be left to greave for you. Yeah, you can always change your number, but if it gets in to the wrong hands, you'll be in a world of trouble. Your not "brave" for posting your numbers here, or even have "brains" either. if you did, you wouldn't even think about it. Your just desperate, have no lives, don't respect yourself or anyone who may care about you, and don't care if some weirdo tracks you down and ends up taking your life. Oh yeah, the internet has sights for everything, even tracking you down through a phone number. So all you brainless, desperate idiots, keep posting your numbers, and keep hoping that nothing bad will happen to you. You people have your heads in the sand, if you think that way!

Post 62 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 19:41:30

wow liz, I love you. well, aren't these people the same people who complain about the perves on here that don't leave them alone? I wonder why... plus some things of this website can be searched with google and the boards are one of these things, so your numbers can be found by the whole world.
well darlings, if it gets bad call my number, 666. good luck

Post 63 by Ashes2ashez (holding on to my halo) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 20:11:08

for fuck sake you guys! if idiots want to post their numbers let them. personally i really wouldn't want total strangers calling me to chat inane crap in the middle of the night even if they were harmless however, some people are loanly and clearly need validation from any and everyone. you guys posting your details truely do need your heads examining but it aint my job to do it for you so no advice from me! i don't even make skype and msn public so the chance of me posting my number is 0
i think the chances of anyone getting murdered as a result of this board are pretty slim, but i'll watch the news just in case.lol

Post 64 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 03-May-2007 21:40:41

I was just trying to scare them, but if they're going to post there numbers to every board they can think of that's public, then what happens or doesn't happen is no problem of mine. At least I respect myself enough, and am not so desperate that I myself would do something as stupid and mindless as that! I keep my private details, private!

Post 65 by Dusty (This site is so "educational") on Friday, 04-May-2007 7:24:53

Those that choose to do it have done so with the forethought of what the consequences might be, and if they haven't, then there's no amount of advice that will change their mind. As far as being traced goes, in the UK you can buy Pay-As-You-Go SIM cards, which require no recording of personal details at all, and are as disposable as chewing gum.

I'd probably give mine out for a laugh if I had one, because if somebody wanted to try and trace me through it they'd have to be into some serious hi-tech stuff (tracking cellphone transcievers etc) and if somebody's that determined to find you, there's probably not a lot you can do to stop them!

Still, good luck to those who have done it; there are easier ways to make friends but sometimes I guess it's just good to go for the jugular. Not literally, I hope lol

Post 66 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Friday, 04-May-2007 8:46:00

As i said i personally wouldn't give my phone out but i don't understand why people think that it is so dangerous to give it out.
When we buy things online we have to enter address and everything. I know they say their servers are secure but there is still a risk. Also i saw people put their contact numbers in their websites for example Jim Kitchen or even there is a number here for people to call and buy premium on the phone. So if it was that dangerous J wouldn't give a number for people to contact.
Or people put their numbers in the signatures at the end of their emails and these numbers are shown in email lists which are also archived online.
So i don't understand what's wrong when people want to do this and why people think that it is so dangerous. I know it might be a risk but there is a risk with everything we do. Somebody might get killed in their way to work either by car accident or by a strange person. So should we stay locked in our house?
Maybe i am missing something but i saw a lot of people giving their numbers so if it was that bad they wouldn't do it.

Post 67 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 04-May-2007 9:03:57

if you look at some! of the posts that are on here closer, I think you might find that they gave out joke numbers.

Post 68 by Gilman Gal (A billy Gilman fan forever and always!!) on Saturday, 05-May-2007 0:46:09

Guys... I'm not meaning to be mean to anyone, but do any of you realize just how dangerous the internet really is? do you guys even watch the news? you need to think about who you give your personal info to. I am just saying, that things can happen. if you want to read a good book that'll show you just how dangerious the internet can be, read Katie dot com. just because this sight is made for the blind doesn't mean that there aren't any crazies here. (No affince.) other people who aren't signed up can read the boards. Okay, I think I am going to close. just think it over before you give out your number onn here.

Post 69 by selena fans love (Newborn Zoner) on Saturday, 05-May-2007 1:00:42

Post 75 by fuzzy101 (The master of fuzz!!) on Monday, 07-May-2007 2:02:06

To those that give out your phone numbers keep this in mind.
It's just as easy for someone to hide there identity when calling you as well as find out about you from your phone number.
From what I understand you can even go so far as too display a different phone number for caller ID as well as having your voice modified by a computer.

Post 76 by Dusty (This site is so "educational") on Monday, 07-May-2007 18:12:59

Someone mentioned that there's a board on here for msn and skype. Those names are not connected to your identity the way a phone number is. I really don't see the logic here. As for people wanting to give out their numbers, that's their own perogative. You're never going to convince them that they're mad.

the news does provide people allot of fear. This is why I don't like the media in the U.S. as for my number have a go... You might have fun... 8004685477... aka 800HotLips... couldn't think of a better one yet have fun...

Oh, I love it! *When* you get kidnapped, the BG Fan says, as if kidnapping will happen as sure as the sun rises. Makes me wonder how such people can live through another day when they're practicallly afraid of their own shadow just because the TV set told them so. I'm not saying kidnapping doesn't happen, but at least the news in America blows things so out of proportion and for what? Ratings points. I suggest you either turn off your TV or just avoid the news, as they're not interested in telling you the truth, they just want to dazzle you with sensational stories to keep you interested so you don't tune away to Simpsons reruns. I wonder if anyone has any idea of how often such crime s happen in real life in comparison to how often they're shown in the news? We got any media-savvy folks willing to chime in on the topic?

...? No thanks! If my mom happened to check the call log again, she'd probably start wondering why I was getting tons of calls from people all around the world. I don't think there's a huge chance of getting kidnapped from posting your phone number, just a high phone bill and possibly a lot of very weird people calling you all the time.

hey all. actually i have a skype in number. you all can call me if you want. 407 278 5830 feel free
to leave song requests for the blade or whatever you want. thank you.
oh yeah if you are easily offended then don't call this number because if you call me when i'm sleeping then you'll probably get cussed out if you wake me up.
and that is also our live number for when we're on the air for the blade so check it out for sure.

are you people crazy, I'm not giving out my number for the whole fucking zone to have!!!

Post 96 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 20-Sep-2007 4:38:12

Mum and Dad's home phone number is exdirectory. I've been told not to give my mobile number out to people on the internet, but I have given it to one or 2 people on the zone, but they were only individuals who already given me their phone numbers. I don't mind giving it to individual people, but not to the whole world. Anyway, I think it would be quite hard to phone an American mobile from an English one wouldn't it, or at least very expensive?

What's the point in giving out your home or mobile phone number the whole world. I can understand it if it is individual people, but not everyone that looks at the board.

i know this post hasn't been responded to for a long time, so here is my response to this one. I agree with the last poster. It's all right to give your number to people you know or have at least talked with, but not on this board. You don't know who's looking at this board. Did you all know that people who are not members of the zone can still look through the boards, so this board is not private that can be viewed only by the members. Every one can search and see your numbers.

Yep that's right. If you do a google search you can easily find these numbers that people post. So it's best not to have them out there unless you really want to.

So, how many Zoners have been raped or kidnapped since they gave their phone numbers out. C'mon, fess up. Hahahahahaha!

I'm not even threw all the messages in this board I'm still close to the beginning and the idea of a directory is good accept it would take me forever to find it. Also then to scroll threw all the listings to get to one I might want. Besides that my land line isn't active right now. So for now my phonenumber is 7.25500 LSB. I'm sure any member of ecars understands that.

Sorry to be mean but it just shows how Desperate a person is if he/she chose to post his/her number in a public website.

Post 106 by thefalcon (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 12-Mar-2008 19:08:26

I skim threw things real fast. Besides if a board has way too many pages, it's easier to go backwards.

You mean if I put my phone number on here, I'll be kidnapped and raped? Well hmmm, what does she look like first? In the mean time, who has tried to call these numbers? Who really believes that someone put their real number on here? That I think is the real problem. No one trusts enough that someone posted their real number. Hell I could post all 4 of my numbers and I bet I wouldn't have to worry at all cause no one would even believe that indeed Nem put his real number on here.
